Guidelines for Moderators and Presenters
For Moderators
- Please be seated at Next Moderator’s Seat (front right of the room) at least 10 min before the session start. Please make sure to inform the room staff of your arrival.
- Please be punctual and carefully follow the allotted time limits.
Disclosure of Conflict of Interest (COI)
- COI disclosure is required for all presentations.
- Please report any conflict of interest (COI) in your presentation date.
For Plenary/Oral Presenters
Presentation Time
Invited Lectures: as informed in advance
Rapid Fire Oral Presentations: Presentation 3 min. + Discussion 2 min.
PC Preview/Presentation Date
- The PCs provided will be equipped with the followings:

Application: Windows PowerPoint 2019/2021 - Please bring your own PC if you prepare the presentation data on Macintosh.
- Please check your presentation data at PC Preview Center 30 minutes prior to the start of your session (15 minutes prior to Morning Seminar).

[For Presenters using Removable Media]
- Presentation data must be in Windows PowerPoint and can only be accepted on CD-R, DVD-R or USB flash memory (CD-RW or DVD-RW cannot be accepted).
- The title of your presentation file should be “your presentation code + your name”.
e.g.: O-1_XXXX.ppt or O-1_XXXX.pptx - OS-standard fonts are recommended such as;
Arial, Arial Black, Arial Narrow, Century, Century Gothic, Courier, Courier New, Georgia, Times New Roman - To avoid the possible spread of computer viruses, always scan your presentation files beforehand with updated anti-virus software.
- Please note that you cannot use PowerPoint’s Presenter View function. If you need manuscripts for your presentation, please print them out in advance and bring them.
- Any copies of your presentation data which the Secretariat has received will be deleted after the congress.
[For Presenters using Your Own PC]
- Please bring your own PC if you prepare the presentation data on Macintosh.
- Please bring backup date in case of unexpected accidents on CD-R, DVD-R or USB flash memory.
- D-sub15-pin connector or HDMI is needed to connect to the projector. If your PC doesn’t provide D-sub15-pin or HDMI, please bring your own adapter for your PC as well as power cables.
*Any other connectors such as Mini DisplayPort cannot be accepted. - Please disable screensaver, power-saving feature, password or hot corner on your PC.
- Please note that you cannot use PowerPoint’s Presenter View function. If you need manuscripts for your presentation, please print them out in advance and bring them.
For Poster Presenters
Poster Presentations
Please note that there are no specific session times for the poster presentation.
Please prepare paper poster on your own and mount it at the designated board.
Mounting: 6:30 - 11:00, November 15 (Fri.)
Viewing: 11:00 - 18:00, November 15 (Fri.)
8:00 - 15:00, November 16 (Sat.)
Removing: 15:00 - 17:50, November 16 (Sat.)
Posters left after removal hours will be disposed by the Secretariat.
Please do not send posters to the Secretariat before the congress. The Secretariat cannot be responsible for any loss or mishandling.
Poster Details
- Poster mounting area is H 170cm × W 90cm.
- Please prepare a slip with title, name(s) of author(s), and affiliation(s) with the size of H 20cm×W 70cm.
- Poster number (20cm × 20cm) will be prepared by the secretariat.
- Pins will be provided along with a panel.
For Video Presenters

Please note that there are no specific session times for the video presentations.
