Call for Abstracts

English oral session will be planned at the 93rd Annual Congress of the Japan Endocrine Society in order to further promote the exchange of our members with those engaged in the endocrine research in international communities. The topics in this session will cover various areas of endocrine research. Those selected are expected to give the presentation in English on the designated date of the Congress.

Applicant eligibility

Applicants must reside abroad at the time of presentation, regardless of his or her nationality. Only one abstract can be submitted per applicant. Those who are expected to reside in Japan at the time of presentation are by no means eligible for this English oral session.

You are requested to download the abstract submission form and self-reported Potential Conflict of Interest Disclosure Statement Form and send us the completed forms to jes2020@c-linkage.co.jp by e-mail.

Selection Method

JES 2020 President will select a total of up to 30 presentations among those of applicants. Selection will be based on diversity of topics and presenters, in the light of clinical practice (including case reports) or fundamental nature, domestic or abroad location, and other factors.

  • 1) Hypothalamus-pituitary system
  • 2) Reproduction or cancer
  • 3) Thyroid gland
  • 4) Parathyroid gland and bone metabolism
  • 5) Carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, and gastrointestinal Endocrinology
  • 6) Adrenal gland, hypertension and cardiovascular metabolism
  • 7) Others

Travel Grants

Applicants　for the travel grants must be younger than 40 years as of April 1st, 2020 and should be the first author or presenter at the Congress. The Details will be announced later.

Presentation

15 minutes including questions and answer period. The details of the session will be later announced after all the abstracts will be selected.　 PowerPoint slides as well as oral presentations must be in English.
