Dear Colleagues and Friends,
On behalf of the organizing committee, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 12th Asian Congress of Abdominal Radiology (ACAR 2025), which will be held on Awaji Island, Hyogo, Japan from June 27th to 29th, 2025. It will be held jointly with the Japanese Society of Abdominal Radiology. In this congress, several experts will be invited to give lectures from Society of Abdominal Radiology (SAR), European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (ESGAR), and European Society of Urogenital Radiology (ESUR).
Over the years, diagnostic modalities such as CT and MR have made significant advances, and new devices and techniques have been introduced. Image-guided therapies and interventions have also been developed to improve patient care and outcomes. These advances have enabled us to allow radiologists to make further contributions to human healthcare. ACAR 2025 aims to promote clinical education and scientific research in abdominal radiology and to strengthen academic exchange among the experts from different countries or regions in Asia.
Awaji Island is located in the middle of the Kansai and Shikoku regions, conveniently close to various airports and major cities. In mythology, Awaji Island is said to be the first island that formed for Japan, and there are many places on Awaji Island that are related to historical and mythical spots. In addition, the charm of Awaji Island, including beautiful nature, historical culture, abundant cuisine, and hot springs, must make you to enjoy staying there.
