Over 10,000 leadless pacemakers have been implanted during 3 years after the approval in Japan. Leadless pacemaker eliminates the lead-or pocket-related adverse events, and is believed to carry a lower risk for the infection due to its smaller surface area and early endothelialization. Stable and adequate electrical performance can be obtained by adequate engagement of tines, which can be assessed rather qualitatively, by goose-neck deformity of the delivery catheter and satisfactory pull and hold test. Experience of leadless pacemaker in US and Japan, existing challenges and solutions, tips and tricks for the safe and effective implantation, and future vision will be discussed in the session. We look forward to your participation!
