虚血性心疾患や心不全の病態進展に炎症および老化が深く関与する。炎症・老化は細胞機能のみならず細胞間相互作用や臓器連関において重要な役割を果たしていることが明らかとなってきた。本セッションでは、心血管疾患における炎症・老化に関する最新の基礎研究の知見をもとに新たな心血管病治療の可能性について議論したい。
