Session Title: Biophysics of Disease

Session Summary:Amyloid deposition is a hallmark of a number of neurodegenerative diseases. In this session we will explore structural mechanisms for protein conversion from healthy normal states into pathological species linked to diseases. Understanding how these species are formed will help uncover new strategies for diagnosis and treatment of these diseases.
